By default, ShipStation prints Packing Slips inline when generating label batches, so each packing slip is matched up with its appropriate label.
You can set ShipStation to print labels and packing slips separately by adjusting the Label and Packing Slip Document Options. Just follow the steps below.
*Please keep in mind making this change will require you to print labels and packing slips using two print actions. ShipStation does not currently send label and packing slip print jobs simultaneously if your document options are not set to print packing slips inline with your labels.
Change Label Document Options
Head to your Account Settings (the wrench icon in the upper right).
Next, select Printing and then Printing Setup from the sidebar on the left.
The Document Format column displays your selected format and will show if packing slips are set to print with the labels. In this example, the Packing Slip option shows it's included in the label format. Click Document Options to change this setting.
Here, you'll see the different formats for printing.
Select the format appropriate for your printer and preferences, and does not include the packing slips.
- Thermal label (A6) printers = 4" x 6" format.
- Standard (A4) printers = 8.5" x 11" format.
Save your changes.
Change Packing Slip Document Options
In the Packing Slip Document Options window, choose the format you'd like your packing slips to print to.
Note: If using standard (A4) size paper, choose one of the 8.5" x 11" options.
Save your changes.
Now your packing slips and labels will print separately!
