At ShipStation, we know processing returns is not your favorite part of the job. Luckily, ShipStation makes this a quick and efficient process that you or even your customer can initiate.
Please check out the ShipStation blog for more information on how having a solid returns strategy helps your business.
This article discusses two ways to create return labels with ShipStation:
- By you, in ShipStation
- By your customer, in the Branded Returns Portal
Please note, the following UK couriers support returns:
- Royal Mail*
*Tracked services only. Tracked returns 24 & 48 must first be approved by Royal Mail before you can set them as the default return option within the Branded Returns Portal.
**Hermes returns are only supported within the UK mainland.
Create a Return Label in ShipStation

The Branded Returns Portal
The Branded Return Portal allows your customer to create their own return label based on the return options you set in your ShipStation account. It combines the reporting functionality you use for your return reasons with a pre-defined shipping service and package type that you control.
