Jet.com is a unique marketplace in that it doesn't allow you to manage product listings or inventory counts within its interface. By default, after you connect a Jet.com account to ShipStation, you are required to use ShipStation's Product Records and Native Inventory Solution to manage your Jet Listings and upload Inventory counts to your Jet account.
However, if you have a 3rd party solution that manages your Jet.com product listings and inventory counts, and would like to only use ShipStation to import your Jet orders and notify Jet of the shipment after a label is created for the orders, ShipStation does have a setting available that can enable this workflow. This setting can be enabled for you by the ShipStation support team.
Things to keep in mind when using this workflow:
You must have a 3rd party solution connected directly to your Jet.com account (not through ShipStation) that is managing product listings, pricing and uploading inventory counts to Jet.com for your listed products for this setting to work properly.
You must have an active Jet Fulfillment Node connected in the Jet tab of your connected Jet selling channel. If no Fulfillment Node is connected, the Jet store will receive an error when attempting to import orders.
If you would like to use this workflow with Jet and ShipStation and you've verified that you have everything set up properly and in place, contact ShipStation Support and we'll enable the setting to disable the management of Products and Inventory using native ShipStation features.
