Jet.com is a unique marketplace because it doesn't allow you to manage product listings or inventory counts within its interface. By default, after you connect a Jet.com account to ShipStation, you must use ShipStation's Product Records and Native Inventory Solution to manage your Jet Listings and to upload Inventory counts to your Jet account.
However, if a third-party manages your Jet.com products and inventory, and you want only ShipStation to handle your Jet orders shipment notifications creating labels, ShipStation enables this workflow.
Ask the ShipStation support team to enable this setting for you!
What to remember when using this workflow
You must have a third-party solution connected directly to your Jet.com account (not through ShipStation) to manage product listings and pricing, and to upload inventory counts to Jet.com for your listed products for this setting to work properly.
You must have an active Jet Fulfillment Node connected in the Jet tab of your connected Jet selling channel. If no Fulfillment Node is connected, the Jet store will receive an error when attempting to import orders.
If you would like to use this workflow with Jet and ShipStation and you've verified that you have everything set up properly, contact ShipStation Support and we'll enable the setting to disable the management of Products and Inventory using native ShipStation features.
