Most of our carriers’ locations will accept packages within a few days of the date on the label, but we cannot guarantee that all locations and carriers will allow this. We recommend that you always set the Ship Date to the date that you actually plan to ship the package.
When you create a shipping label, the Ship Date automatically populates with the current date. This can be overridden if you do not plan to deliver the packages to the carrier until a later date.
When shipping orders or processing a batch, the Ship Date will appear underneath the shipment information on the Create a Label... screen.
Please note: On National holidays when USPS is closed, ShipStation may automatically set the date forward to the next USPS business day.
