When editing or viewing an order, you may notice three custom fields at the bottom of the Order Notes section of the Order Details pop-up or the Order Sidebar.
To add your own notes, simply click the blue None text to begin typing or click on previously entered text to make changes. Once you click away from the text entry field, your changes will be saved.
In most cases, these fields are ideal for adding any special notes to the order after it has imported into ShipStation.
Currently, we cannot import information into these fields from any selling channels through the API except WooCommerce (4.0+), Magento, or a Custom Store. If you would like us to map fields imported from WooCommerce, Magento, or a Custom Store into one of these three custom fields, please contact our support team to let them know which fields to map.
Note: Available fields will be dependent on the selling channel and if they send the data in their order feed.
For any other selling channels, we recommend you use these fields as needed to manually enter any additional data you like (such as a PO number).
