This article defines order views and tells how to save filtered views in one of two ways:
Order Views are specifically-filtered, reusable or single-use searches that display orders based on the criteria that you select. Views can have customized filters, column orders, and screen layouts.
If you are using ShipStation V3, check out our article Use Filters and Views that goes over how to use this feature in V3. |
This image shows the Filter bar along the top of the Orders tab (under the Actions menus).
To filter your orders by these criteria, select the criteria for the set of orders you want to display.
NOTE: Each criterion must be met for the filter to pick up the order. Because of this, we recommend that you keep the number of criteria low as you add them. The lower the number of criteria to be met, the more likely you will filter usable results.
Saved Filters
Saved filters are available for all users on your account to use and edit (if they have edit privileges). Click the Save Current Filter button under the Saved Filters drop-down menu. This creates a saved filter search that you can access under the same dropdown.
Manage your filters under your Account Settings and use these filters as your Automation rule criteria.
To view your list of saved filters:
1. Go to your Account Settings (the wrench icon in the upper right).
2. Select Automation and then Order Filters from the left-hand sidebar.
Saved Views
Back on the Orders tab, you can also save filters as an Order view. Access these views on the left-hand sidebar anytime, and they will take into account your current filters, column choices, and groups. Save up to five under each status.
Make any saved order view your default view by clicking on its action menu and choosing Show me this view by default.
Order views are visible and available to all users on an account. Each user can set their own default view that is unique to their login.
