Why are my Paypal orders missing item information?

You might notice that your Paypal Invoice orders are missing some product information that you might expect. For example, the populated SKU is the same as the Order #/Transaction ID, and the product name isn't present. 

Unfortunately, Paypal's API does not support the transmission of invoice information. Paypal simply updates the shopping cart once the order has been paid. Because of the limitation of Paypal's API, we are not able to retrieve the product SKU and name.
