Once you create a label in ShipStation, you can track the shipment to its location right within the app. To do this, first click on the Shipments tab.
Then, find the orders for which you want tracking information, and then click on the Track Shipments button. (You won't even need to click this button for certain carrier and service combinations.)
When en route, a plane icon will display to the left of the tracking number and when hovered over, will display the parcel's current stage of delivery.
You can click on the tracking number to take you to the carrier's page for that shipment. Once the package is delivered, the plane will change into a checkmark.
The services below send tracking status updates to ShipStation automatically every few hours. This means that you won't need to click the Track Shipments button unless you want ShipStation to manually pull the latest information, additionally you'll be able to set up Delayed Shipment Notifications based on when the shipment first hits the mailstream, or even customer emails when a "Delivered" status is detected on a shipment. If a carrier or service is not listed, then you won't be able to delay notifications based on mail stream activity. Also, the Track Shipments button is the only way to pull any available tracking information into ShipStation.
