You're able to adjust your time zone in ShipStation to improve reporting accuracy and timing for certain ShipStation features, like your Shipping Cutoff setting.
You will need the Administration permission to adjust the account-wide setting. If you've got that.
Head to your Account Settings (the gear icon in the upper right).
Next, select Account and then Display Options from the sidebar on the left.
Scroll down to the "Time & Date" section, look for the "Time Zone" setting, and select the appropriate option from the list.
Save Changes and you'll be ready!
Now, depending on the types of selling channels you've connected to ShipStation, you may need to adjust some store specific settings. Some of the bigger marketplaces (like Amazon, eBay, and Etsy) send us time information in UTC format, which is easily converted into your selected time zone. However, many other partners (especially shopping carts that you install to a server) shopping carts don't do this uniformly. In your Account Settings, click on Order Management and then Selling Channels, and finally click Edit for a store that may need its time zone set.
In the "Store Information" section, look for the "Store Timezone" setting and select the appropriate option from the dropdown list. (If your store doesn't have this setting, that means the store sends ShipStation time in UTC, so you don't need to worry about it!)
Once you've made your selection, Save Changes! Repeat these steps for any other stores that may need this setting adjusted.
If you've adjusted all time related settings in your Display Options and your Selling Channel settings, then going forward, your orders should import into ShipStation with the correct timestamps, and your reports should include the correct orders when you filter by date range.
