What is Commercial Plus pricing (a.k.a. CPP)?

Commercial Plus pricing (a.k.a. CPP) is a USPS program that offers heavily discounted postage rates on certain services for shippers that have met certain volume thresholds in the previous calendar year. Most online USPS postage is offered with Commercial Base pricing (a.k.a. CBP)

Through our relationship with Stamps.com, you have access to CPP rates for domestic Priority Mail flat rate shipments, as well as domestic Priority shipments up to 10 pounds. This relationship also provides a small discount for Domestic Priority Mail shipments between 10 and 70 pounds-- we offer them with a small discount that's less than CBP (but not CPP). Additionally, we have access to special Cubic pricing rates, and we'll auto-switch domestic Priority shipments to that pricing whenever it's cheaper for you.

If you'd like full CPP rates for one or more services through Stamps.com, they may be available IF you met the appropriate USPS threshold in the previous calendar year (or previous four quarters for Priority Mail Express):

If you think you've met these thresholds, contact Stamps.com to confirm that you qualify and then start the application process with the USPS. You may even get special perks like official USPS Cubic pricing.

Please reach out to ShipStation support if Stamps.com enables CPP rates and/or special perks on their side. We'll flip a switch on our end so that your Stamps.com-approved rates and perks work in ShipStation!
