ShipStation supports using UPS Ground Freight Pricing for your shipments. To enable UPS Ground Freight Pricing on an order, you'll need to follow these steps.
First, you'll need to make sure your UPS account supports Ground Freight Pricing. This must be enabled by UPS on your account. ShipStation cannot support this feature with your UPS account unless it is enabled by UPS directly. You can learn more about UPS Ground Freight Pricing by visiting their site here.
If you already have your UPS account added, follow these steps:
Head to your Account Settings (the gear icon in the upper right).
Next, select Shipping and then Carriers & Fulfillment from the sidebar on the left.
Then, click on the Edit link associated with your UPS integration. Once you do that, you'll see a dialog box like the one below:
Check the box next to Enable Ground Freight Pricing and Confirm.
Once enabled, navigate to the Orders page. Open the Order Detail Popup for an order you wish to use UPS Ground Freight Pricing by clicking the Order Number. Please note that you MUST have UPS selected as the carrier in order to view the following UPS Ground Freight Pricing options on your order.
Locate the Other Shipping Options section, check the box next to This shipment requires a Freight Classification code, and enter the Freight Classification Code.
Once selected, you will use your UPS Ground Freight Pricing when the label is created.
