Celery

Celery is a pre-order platform that makes it easy to launch new products. Within minutes, use Celery to set up pre-order or custom crowdfunding campaigns on your own website. Celery allows merchants to accept orders now and change later when they’re ready to fulfill.

Note

Celery’s pre-order service and ecommerce tools was shut down on July 15th, 2019.

Your Celery account will no longer be able to accept new orders, and ShipStation will no longer be able to import historic order information. Please see the Celery FAQ for more information on what this means for your account and existing orders.

Troubleshooting Tips

Here are some common issues experienced by users, potential causes, and available troubleshooting tips.

Issue

How to troubleshoot or resolve

I was able to connect my Celery account and update the store without any errors, but no orders are importing.

There's two main reasons why this would occur:

  • The order hasn't been Queued for ShipStation in Celery yet.

  • When connecting the Celery store, the Celery Login ID was used instead of the Celery User ID. ShipStation is able to connect with Celery without any errors if you use your Login ID, but we do not receive orders when contacting the store. Try reconfiguring your store using the User ID instead.
