How order importing works in ShipStation and how to set up auto-updates.
Importing orders from a connected store is the most common way to get orders into ShipStation. This article discusses how to import orders and other details you need to know about importing orders using this method. You'll import using this method if you have connected stores we directly integrate with (like Shopify and Amazon), as well as a Custom Store built by developers.
In addition to importing orders from a connected store, you can also import orders from a CSV file, create orders manually in ShipStation, or use the ShipStation API.

Currency Designations on Orders
Orders imported from different countries will now display the appropriate currency designation. For example, if you have a store for your EU market and for your US market connected to ShipStation, orders from the EU store will use € and US orders will use $. This automatic feature is not adjustable in Settings.
Each store has the option in Settings to auto-update periodically. This setting is enabled by default when you connect your store.
When enabled, ShipStation will periodically send an import request to the store and import your orders. The frequency of the auto-import is determined by an algorithm, which relies on a few variables including the volume of orders that import each time.
There is currently no way to schedule an auto update or change the frequency with which the update occurs. To ensure you always have the most recent orders, click the Import button in your toolbar as needed.
To enable or disable the auto-import setting:
Settings > Selling Channels > Store Setup
Click Edit next to the store.
Go to the Store Settings tab.
Check or uncheck the setting Allow this store to 'auto-update' periodically.
Click Save Changes.
