ShipStation and Snapchat have partnered so ShipStation users can receive $150 in ad credit with Snapchat's Ad Manager!
To get started, you must have:
A personal Snapchat account (required for a Business Account).
A Snapchat Business Account.
A billing method: credit card, PayPal, and line of credit accepted.
At least $50 in accrued and billed ads with Snapchat Ad Manager.
Snapchat Ads Manager requires a business account with Snapchat.
If you already have a business account, go to Snapchat's ShipStation promotion page, click Create An Ad, and log in to get started. Otherwise, follow the steps below to create an account. We've provided several Snapchat Ad Manager resources at the end of the article that will help you create your first ads in your new account.
Follow these steps:
Click Sign up, next to "New to Snapchat?".
Enter your name and a username.
Create a password.
Enter in a valid phone number (if using the mobile app) or a valid email address.
Enter your birthday.
Click Sign Up & Accept.
If you signed up from the website, you'll need to download the Snapchat app to your phone to verify your account.
Before you can start advertising, you'll need to set up a business account. To create a business account, do the following:
Go to ads.snapchat.com/setup and log in to your Snapchat account.
Use the username and password you created in the previous step.
Input your business name and click Next.
Select the country you'd like to do business in, along with the currency, and click Next.
Snapchat will then automatically create your business account. You'll then be prompted to create your first campaign and be set up with your first Ad Account.
You'll be prompted to enter your payment details once you're ready to flight your first ad.
Ads Manager is Snapchat's self-service tool. Through Ads Manager you'll purchase Ad products like Snap Ads, Filters, and more.
Use Ads Manager to:
Create and manager advertising campaigns.
Create and manage multiple Ad Accounts.
Manage your spend and credit sources.
Invite members to a business or Ad account and assign roles and permissions.
Download campaign reports to analyze performance.
You can use your own creative assets, or use Snapchat's Instant Create user flow. Once you've successfully accrued $50 in ads, you will then be eligible for the $150 ad credit.
