Zonos

Zonos lets you sell internationally with full transparency. They partner with highly capable international shipping providers and help to produce a landed cost that is inclusive of their brokerage and other clearance fees. This landed cost means you can easily calculate duty, taxes, and other fees while maintaining control of your business and not having to bother with manual quotes.

Currently, you can integrate Zonos with ShipStation for ecommerce in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.

Zonos Automation Rules

You must set up automation rules to ensure that Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) applies automatically to international shipments and to avoid duplicate shipments from importing to ShipStation (if you use Shopify or BigCommerce). These two steps are required to properly use the Zonos integration with ShipStation.

  • Create an automation rule so Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) applies automatically to international shipments. The procedure differs based on the Zonos product you use (Landed Cost or International Checkout), so be sure to choose the correct instructions below.

  • Create an automation rule to avoid duplicate orders from BigCommerce and Shopify importing into ShipStation. The procedure works the same for both Zonos plans (Landed Cost or International Checkout).

Create DPD Rules - Zonos: International Checkout Plan

Create an automation rule to mark international orders within a Zonos International Checkout plan as having prepaid duties and taxes (DDP).

  1. Create an automation rule and call it something like Duty and tax rule - Zonos .

  2. Select Tax Paid in the 1st drop-down, select Is Greater Than in the 2nd drop-down, and enter 0.0 in the available field.

  3. Click the + Add Criteria button again, then select Country in the 1st drop-down, select Do Not Include in the 2nd drop-down, and select United States in the 3rd drop-down.

  1. Create an automation rule and call it something like Duty and tax rule - Zonos .

  2. Select Requested Service (Marketplace) in the 1st drop-down, select Contains in the 2nd drop-down, and type (or copy+paste) the words Duties & Taxes Included into the empty field.

Automation Rule to Avoid Duplicate Orders: Both Plans

To prevent the same orders importing into ShipStation from both Zonos and a connected Shopify or BigCommerce store, you’ll need to configure a Do Not Import automation rule.

Note

The instructions for this Do Not Import rule are the same for either Zonos plan (Landed Cost and International Checkout)

To create an automation rule to prevent importing duplicate orders:

  1. Create an automation rule and call it something like Zonos - Do Not Import From, or choose another name that works best for you.

  2. Select Marketplace under the 1st drop-down, select Includes under the 2nd drop-down, then select your applicable marketplace (BigCommerce, Shopify, or both) under the 3rd drop-down.

  3. Click +Add Criteria again, then select International Order under the 1st drop-down and select True under the 2nd drop-down.

  4. Select Don't Import the Order under the Action Type drop-down and click Save Rule.
