Label Printing Setup
AnsweredHello!
We use the label sheets that are letter size (8.5 x 11) and they have 2 per sheet.
Then we set the label printing on " (8.5 x 11) 2 per sheet".
Since we print mostly one by one order label (We have too many SKUs and mostly the orders are different items each), we save the second label on each label sheet (the other half) to load the printer with these sheets, and use the other label remaining on each page.
The problem is when we have to print a batch, which is more than one label at a time.
Since many times our printer has loaded the remaining sheets with only one label per page, and the batch prints as it is set (2 per sheet) half of the labels are printed on the wax paper underneath the label.
This makes us load the printer with complete label sheets each time we need to print a batch. A pain in the neck.
If we could just set the printer label as (8.5 x 11) 1 label per sheet, instead of 2, would be great.
May be you can add this option to the label printing setup, where the only label per sheet could be either the top or the bottom one, no matter which one, as long as we can use the same configuration for the batches. In this case we'll save precious time.
Thank you!!

Hi Gustavo,
There's an account setting in ShipStation that our support team can adjust for you which will set it so that shipping labels will only print at the top of a 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. When used in conjunction with the 8.5″ × 11″ (2 per page) Shipping Label Format in ShipStation, this account setting would result in a single shipping label printing at the top of the 8.5″ × 11″ sheet of paper.
To activate this setting, please reach out to our support team, and request they set the LabelPosition for your account to labeltop.
Please note that this setting can only be enabled or disabled by the ShipStation support team. If you want to disable this setting in the future, you would have to reach out to ShipStation support again and request to have the setting disabled.
