I am in the same boat, and just had a "chat" with support.  V3 is in "closed beta" status with no estimated date of general release. Frustrating.  Hate to pay $100/month for groovepacker. Have you figured out any alternatives?

I saw groovepacker too but it looks like their pricing went up to $150 plus a $500 setup fee!  Ouch.  I spoke with support too and I heard they were making changes to the interface to take it back to the look and feel of what we have now.  It may months before they release it.  I am going to start looking at some other options and software.

Hey guys, definitely get what you mean and love the excitement about getting into V3.

So right now we do have access closed, but this is actually super exciting as we have moved V3 into a closed beta status while we actively work to build the most stable experience for users like you both.

If you have ever been to a Disney resort or property when they are refurbishing or building expansions, you will always see walls up with a “pardon the pixie dust” message.  They do this to make sure you have the best experience possible. That is pretty much the equivalent of what we are doing right now by having V3 in a closed beta environment.

Right now with V3 major changes and updates are being implemented daily. With all of these moving parts and changes, we want to limit confusion and make sure that the transition to V3  is as seamless as possible for everyone!

This being said,  I actually will be reaching out to you both via email shortly with some additional information about your interest and access to V3 given your situations.

HI Erin, Can you give us an estimated time frame? Do we think we will see this before the Holiday season? We need to work out the kinks in the way we operate with the V3 before the busy season. There was a point where we were able to switch to V3 easily and I applaud your team for putting up the "Pardon the pixie dust" walls because it was a smart decision from when I tried, it I switched right back. Also will the classic version still be operable? But please let us know the time frame.

    Hi Jonathan,

Welcome to the Community, we are so happy to have you here!

I totally get where you are coming from with wanting to be able to take a look around V3 before the holiday season ramps up.

There is not an official ETA, however, we are starting to open up V3 access for interested users that could be a good fit for it at this time. Our goal here at ShipStation always comes down to one big word: Efficiency.

As we start to open access, we will be doing our part to make sure that V3 will be a good fit and that it helps you to be as efficient as possible.

As far as ShipStation Classic, There are no plans to force anyone to V3 or to shut down V2( Classic) at this time.

I have created a ticket for you so we can discuss if V3 would be a good fit for you and talk about next steps if it is.
