International order routing to a US postal facility and not customers address

    I'm curious as to the final answer to the original post.  Why are International USPS shipments defaulting to a facility in CA?  Is this the norm?  Thanks.

    Welcome to our community. We are so happy to have you here and I thank you for your comment. 

     

    After reviewing your comment and the original post from Anthony, I did a little more digging on this and found that my initial assessment was not correct. This is actually expected behavior if you are shipping using First-Class Mail International Large flat Envelopes. 

     

     This type of service/package combination for international shipments with USPS is first sent to a USPS  postal center to be sorted before being sent to its final destination.

    I have added a screenshot below to show you what a label using First-Class Mail International Large Flat Envelope. You can see that your customer's name is listed in the lower right hand under order reference. 

     

    However, if you are seeing this and are not using the service above then you would need to reach out to our support team directly for assistance.
