    Hello all,

Welcome to the community Dominic Henry and thank you for your feedback in regards to this.

I was able to do some internal research for you guys and can tell you that this is something that our team is working on. I do not have a specific ETA to provide, but ShipStation will make sure everyone is notified when this update is pushed out.

    Hello Sarah,

Welcome to the community. We are so happy to have you here.

Thanks for your feedback. We definitely understand the desire to know when parcels have been delivered. ShipStation can provide that insight when you use a carrier’s tracked services. ShipStation does not have control over which services provide tracking and which do not - that is determined by the carrier. For Royal Mail, if you need tracking on your parcels, you must use their tracked service offerings.

This isn't totally true.  In "Royal mail click and drop" RM24 and RM48 offer a tracking number (even though it isn't a tracked service) that allow you to see when an item is delivered. This tracking number isn't available when generating labels in ShipStation.

This is an essential feature that is missing. We need that number to keep up our delivery rate metrics on eBay!

    Please fix this Shipstation!

This would make a HUGE difference to customers with Royal Mail integrations.

While 13 digit tracking numbers are mapped through to ShipStation for Royal Mail tracked and signed for services, the various services with a 21 digit number for services with delivery confirmation (e.g. Royal Mail 24 & 48 on 'CRL') are not mapped through to the tracking number field in ShipStation.

This is a big deal, as delivery notifications for these services don't have working tracking links because this isn't mapped through to a customer clickable link.

If it was mapped from the API data customers would get a functioning link, which updates once delivered or delivery is attempted, otherwise they get a in transit please wait message.

    Active in Transit:

    Delivered:

Royal Mail call this the 21 Character UID, also referred to as the 2D number or itemID. The current Royal Mail API definitely does support this and it already appears as a alphanumeric format in ShipStation generated labels, above the 3D barcode.

Can you retrieve it? Yes say Royal Mail in P5 of their API FAQs.

There are only two major headaches with the ShipStation Royal Mail integration, this and Royal Mail pricing not being pulled through. At least something can be done on this one!

Happy to input to the ShipStation devs if you would like some input. It would be great to get this working and it would make a lot of Royal Mail users very happy.

We signed up to the free 30 day trial, and used the system for the first time yesterday.

We were really impressed with how everything worked apart from this issue. We use RM24 for all parcels, so it looks like it's back to the old Click and Drop so we can get tracking numbers.

We'll happily sign up once it's available, but until then, unfortunately it's a no for us.
