Starlinks Global

Starlinks Global is a Saudi Arabia-based logistics and supply chain company that provides US and UK-based ShipStation account with services to extend their reach to Saudi Arabia and the GCC region. Starlinks Global only ships internationally with ShipStation and provides both DDP and DDU options.

Starlinks Global Integration Requirements

Connection Requirements:

  • A US- or UK-based ShipStation account

  • An active account with Starlinks Global

  • Your Starlinks Global username and API key (available in your customer pack)

Connect a Starlinks Global Account to ShipStation

To connect your Starlinks Global account to ShipStation:

🇺🇸 🇨🇦 Your Carriers Add-On

For US- and Canada-based ShipStation accounts, certain plans will require you to enable the Your Carriers add-on before you can connect your carrier accounts. If you have not yet enabled it, you'll be prompted to do so before you can connect your accounts.

  1. Click the Add Carrier button.

  2. Select Starlinks Global and click Connect.

  3. Enter your Starlinks Global username and API key.

    Do NOT select Accept FM Parcels.

  4. Click Connect.

Starlinks Global offers a total of 11 service codes. Once you have successfully connected Starlinks Global, click the Services link and select the services that are included in your customer pack.

Shipping to Northern Ireland (Windsor Framework)

In alignment with the Windsor Framework, Starlinks has introduced data requirements when shipping from the UK to Northern Ireland (NI). These changes will take effect on 31st March 2025.

On 19th September 2024, the UK Government confirmed that the new arrangements under the Windsor Framework for parcels and freight movements that were planned to come into effect from 30th September 2024 will be deferred until 31st March 2025. See Sending parcels to and from Northern Ireland for the full statement.

B2C: Starlinks requires you to provide data in the following fields of the Items Section:

  • Description

  • Unit Value

  • HS Code

  • Quantity

  • Country of Origin

  • SKU Code

B2B: Starlinks currently does not support shipping from the UK to Northern Ireland for this service.

Mandatory Data as of 31st March 2025

The above data will be mandatory as of 31st March 2025. If not provided, the label will not be generated. If available, you can provide the data for this type of shipment before 30th September.

Starlinks Global supports COD, DDP, and DDU shipments.

The carrier can be used to create domestic shipping labels.

The carrier can be used to create international shipping labels.

ShipStation will submit international customs declarations electronically to the carrier.

The carrier can be used to create domestic return labels.

ShipStation will display estimated shipping rates for the carrier based on the connected account information and shipment details.

Shipment insurance, provided by the shipment's selected carrier, can be added to the shipment in ShipStation. This insurance would be in addition to any default coverage already provided by that carrier.

Shipping labels created for this carrier will include a tracking number that can be used to view the shipment status on the carrier's tracking website. Tracking may not be available for all shipping services.

ShipStation can close the day's shipments for the carrier and submit the manifest electronically. The End of Day process may be mandatory or optional, based on the carrier and your account with them. A printable file may or may not be available when submitted electronically - see End of Day (PDF).

This carrier can be used to create multi-package shipments, where multiple labels are created for a single shipment and the individual packages are linked together in a single shipment record with a master tracking number.

You can connect this carrier to ShipStation multiple times using different accounts and choose which account will be used to create each shipment.

Starlinks Global Integration Notes

  • The ShipStation integration with Starlinks Global does not support third-party billing.

  • You cannot create multi-package shipments in ShipStation. It may be possible to do so by logging in to your Starlinks online portal.

  • ShipStation does not submit customs documents for Starlinks Global international shipments.

    You must generate your own customs documents and submit them electronically to Starlinks for international shipments. For details, see section 8: CUSTOMS CLEARANCE – ALL COUNTRIES on page 7 of the Starlink Global Terms and Conditions PDF.
