Cdiscount

Cdiscount is one of the largest e-commerce retail sites in France. ShipStation's integration imports your Cdiscount orders and automatically notifies the marketplace when each order is shipped. Additionally, the Cdiscount integration with ShipStation supports the pickup/dropoff features with both Colissimo and Mondial Relay.

Cdiscount API moving to pre-existing Octopia API

Cdiscount was recently acquired by Octopia. Along with all the other brands that Octopia owns, the Cdiscount API will be moving to the pre-existing Octopia API. In the future, the current Cdiscount API will cease to function and anyone who is still doing business with CDiscount will be on the new, Octopia API.

This transition may disrupt your shipping with ShipStation, as we do not currently have plans to build a new integration with Cdiscount. Should this API transition disrupt your shipping service, we would love for you to continue to use ShipStation with another store you may find within our Store & Marketplace Integrations.

Cdiscount Requirements

Connection Requirements:

  • An active account with Cdiscount.

  • Your Cdiscount API username and API password.

Order Import Requirements:

  • Order must include a Ship To address.

Other Requirements:

  • Order must be in Validated - to Ship status in Cdiscount to ship using ShipStation.

Connect a Cdiscount Store to ShipStation

To connect your Cdiscount store to ShipStation:

  1. Retrieve your API username and API password from your Cdiscount account.

  2. Log into ShipStation.

  3. Go to Account Settings.

  4. Select Selling Channels from the sidebar, then choose Store Setup.

  5. Click Connect a Store or Marketplace.

  6. Select the Cdiscount tile.

  7. Paste your API username and API password into the corresponding fields.

  8. Click Connect.

After you've completed the connection steps, the store's Settings page will open. You can adjust your store-specific settings like branding and customer notifications, if you wish. Or click Save to close.

Cdiscount Additional Features

ShipStation's integration with Cdiscount allows for the following additional features:

Import refresh

The first time you import orders, ShipStation will import orders from the previous 29 days.

All subsequent order imports will look at the prior 30 days and import the following:

  • Any orders modified within 24 hours of the previous import action

  • Any new orders since the previous import

Item Options

ShipStation will import both color and size as item options, if present on the order.

Pickup Orders

Cdiscount orders with pickup information will import into ShipStation for the following carriers:

  • Colissimo

  • Mondial Relay

Does not allow partial shipment notifications

Cdiscount does not accept marketplace notifications for orders that are partially shipped.

If a store allows custom statuses, this means you define that statuses your orders use in your selling channel. In most cases, if you have custom statuses you'll need to define which ShipStation statuses each custom order status corresponds to.

ShipStation will import the customer's email address with the order data and can send shipment confirmation and delivery emails to that email address (configured in your Store settings).

ShipStation will import the customer phone number with the order data.

ShipStation will import the shipping method chosen by the customer during their store checkout.

ShipStation will import the payment method used to pay for the order.

ShipStation will import discount and coupon information for the order.

ShipStation can determine if an order is a gift from the order data sent by the store.

ShipStation will import internal notes or order activity from the store into the ShipStation Internal Notes field.

ShipStation will import notes provided by the customer when they made their purchase.

ShipStation will import the total order weight from the store.

ShipStation will import the weight for each line item in the order.

ShipStation will import an image URL for each line item in the order. These images will appear as thumbnails in your Order Details and can be included in email notifications and packing slips.

ShipStation will import item options (such as color or size) for each line item in the order. This data will appear in your Order Details and can be included in customer emails and packing slips.

ShipStation will import a product stock location for each line item in the order.
