Canpar Express from ShipStation is a shipping carrier available to Canada-based ShipStation accounts. There is no need to start your own Canpar Express account to use with ShipStation. Canpar Express from ShipStation ships to virtually all points accessible by public roads in all ten provinces of Canada.

A ShipStation account based in the US or Canada.

Activate ShipStation Carriers by adding your payment method.
You'll be prompted to enter your payment method the first time you attempt to create a label with any ShipStation Carrier, or you can add in advance in either your Carrier settings or Payments & Subscription settings.

Add funds to your ShipStation Balance.
All ShipStation Carrier labels are purchased using the funds in your ShipStation Balance. The first time you add your payment method, you'll be prompted to add funds so you can begin purchasing labels right away.

Canpar Express requires manifests for all shipments.
To activate ShipStation Carriers you must add your label payment method and agree to the carriers' Terms of Service. Once activated, you'll have access to all the carriers available for your account's country.
To activate ShipStation Carriers:

Click the Get Started button.

Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your billing details, agree to the terms and conditions, and finish the setup.
Once completed, you can add funds to your ShipStation Balance and create labels with ShipStation Carriers.
Enable Auto-Funding For a Seamless Experience
We recommend enabling auto-funding to ensure your balance always has the funds for your label purchase needs.
ShipStation will sometimes add new carriers to the ShipStation Carriers roster! If you have already activated ShipStation Carriers and would like to start using the new carrier's services, go to Settings > Shipping > Carriers
and click the Update button.
Agree to the new carrier's terms, and you're done! Once enabled, you can immediately start creating labels with the new carrier.

ShipStation manages all missing or damage claims for shipments sent with Canpar Express from ShipStation. Do not contact Canpar Express support to file a claim.

Fill in all the required fields and submit the form when complete.

Canpar Express from ShipStation does not support scheduling pickups with the ShipStation pickup scheduler. However, you can schedule pickups with the Canpar Express Pick up on Demand scheduler.

You cannot void labels after they have been manifested.

ShipStation only supports the thermal label layout (4" x 6"), not the integrated label layout (8.5" x 11").

There is no support for a Ship To address line 3. However, your Ship From can have address line 3.

Canpar Express supports ShipStation's label message 1 and has a 20-character limit.

Canpar does not support the Company Name field.

Carrier Insurance Rate Fee is not included in the estimated rate or in the Rate Feed

To receive a refund on any unused funds in your ShipStation balance, you must contact ShipStation support and request your ShipStation Balance be cancelled. You will then receive a refund on your balance in 6-8 weeks.
We cannot issue partial refunds on your balance. If you wish to continue using ShipStation Carriers, simply use the balance available in your account.
