Automating DDP for Packages to Canada

If you frequently ship from the US to Canada and would like to automate paying the delivery duties and taxes for your orders you can create an automation rule manually or automatically when you run your next batch of shipments.

To automatically add a DDP rule to your account just select 2 or more shipments to Canada in the orders grid and click the Create Label button. There will be a pop-up to review DDP options for applicable packages.

Once that option is selected the checkbox to Apply 'Prepay Duties and Taxes' automatically to future orders will activate. If this box is checked ShipStation will automatically create a rule called [Autogen] DDP - Prepay Duties in your account.
