ShipStation wants to ensure you can process your orders as quickly as possible. With this in mind, we've added multiple methods to add your address information like manual entry, copy and paste, or Natural Language Process (or NLP, for short) to our mobile app.
Permissions Required to Use Natural Language Process (NLP)
Make sure you allow ShipStation Mobile access to your device's microphone if you would like to use the NLP feature.
To create a new order in the mobile app:

Go to Orders from the left sidebar menu.

Click the vertical ellipsis icon
in the upper-right corner and tap New Order.

Enter the ship to address using one of the methods outlined below:

Manually Enter Address: Begin typing in the desired field. As you type ShipStation will search your existing customer records, if it finds a match it will show the suggestion. Click on the customer record to autofill the remaining fields.

Paste Address: Click Paste Address at the top of the order to access the pop-up. Phone numbers and email addresses are not included in this method. They must be typed in manually. ShipStation mobile will fill in the appropriate fields after you click OK.

Voice Command Address: Tap the Microphone icon at the top of the order. Speak the address clearly into the microphone. Voice command can input the following fields:

Recipient Name

Company
-
Address Line 1
-
Address Line 2
-
City
-
State
-
Zip Code
-
Country
Tap Stop when you are finished. The app will fill in the appropriate fields.

Scroll down to adjust the store, order number, and payment information.

Click the Add a Line Item button to add order items.

Select the desired option to save your order:

Save Order: this option will close the order creation pop up and return you to the orders grid.

Save and Create Another: this option will save the current order details and reload the pop-up for you to create another order.

Save and Ship!: this option will take you to the Create Label screen.
