How to add a Yahoo! Merchant Solutions store to ShipStation, what features are available, and other need-to-know details.
Previously known as Yahoo! Store, Yahoo! Merchant Solutions allows you to build, host, and manage your online store. The ShipStation integration with Yahoo! Merchant Solutions lets you compile and manage orders from each of your marketplaces, work with a network of carrier integrations, and process up to 500 labels at a time for a batch.
Connection Requirements:
-
An active Yahoo! Store account on the Standard or Professional plan.
-
Your Yahoo Store ID.
-
Your Yahoo Partner Store Contract Token.
Order Import Requirements:
-
Include a Ship To address.
To connect your Yahoo! Store to ShipStation:
-
Log in to your Yahoo! Store here.
-
Click Checkout in the left-hand sidebar, then click Real time configuration.
-
Click API Settings.
-
Click Add New Partner.
-
Enter ypa-005364355987 in the Partner ID field. Verify that ShipStation is shown for Partner Name.
-
Enable access to the Order API.
You should receive an email with your Store ID and your Partner Store Contract Token.
-
Select the Yahoo! Store tile.
-
Enter the Store ID and Partner Store Contract Token in the corresponding fields.
-
Recommended. Enter a First Order ID to Import.
Note
If this is not set, ShipStation will attempt to import all Yahoo! Store orders on the initial import. After the initial import, only new orders will be imported.
After you've completed the connection steps, your store will be connected to ShipStation. You'll be taken to the store's Settings page to adjust the store-specific settings like branding, notification preferences, and product handling.
-
Unless you reconfigure your store and set a new First Order ID to Import value, Yahoo! Store orders are only exposed to ShipStation a single time. If you update the order in Yahoo! Store after it's already imported into ShipStation, ShipStation will not receive the updated information.
-
As a security measure, Yahoo! Store requires that Contract Token be renewed yearly. Review Yahoo's Renew API Token article for details. Once you have a new token, you must reconfigure the Yahoo! Store's connection in ShipStation.
