Single Sign-On (SSO)

To make login quick and easy ShipStation users can now link their account to a single sign-on service.

What is SSO?

What is SSO? It is the ability to use one set of credentials to sign into many different applications. Using SSO also helps reduce the number of passwords you have to remember to access your accounts.

Available SSO providers

Manage SSO in Your Account

If you have Single Sign-On enabled or would like to enable it in your account you simply need to update the setting in your User Profile.

  1. Locate the Third Party Login Section.

  2. Select Connect or Disconnect as needed.

Notes About SSO

  • Only ONE account can be linked per SSO provider.

  • If you disconnect the SSO provider used to open an account you will see a prompt to create a password for ShipStation. If you do not set a password at that time you can use the 'Forgot Password' option the next time you attempt to sign into ShipStation to create one.

  • Mobile App login does not currently support SSO. If you plan to use ShipStation's Mobile App you will need to create a password for your account by going to your account Profile (person icon) > My Profile > Change Your Password.

  • Disconnecting SSO has to be done directly from the user profile. For an Account Administrator to disable an SSO connection they would need to deactivate that users profile in their account.
