ShipStation's Inventory Sync feature eliminates the need for manual inventory updates. It also ensures your inventory levels are always accurate and up-to-date. Once you have activated Inventory Sync in the Add-On section of your account settings, you can easily manage your inventory across multiple platforms. You'll also save time and reduce the risk of errors.
To support your unique needs with syncing your inventory, we have added additional settings you can configure to adjust how your stock counts sync.
Set a Minimum Quantity: Enable this setting so that ShipStation will not sync a stock count below your set minimum quantity. For example, if you set this count to 5 and your inventory falls to 4, we will still sync 5 to this target.
Set a Maximum Quantity: Enable this setting so that ShipStation will not sync a stock count above your set maximum quantity. For example, if you set this count to 100 and your inventory is 150, we will still sync 100 to this target.
Follow these steps to set your Minimum and Maximum sync counts:
Set a Buffer Quantity: Enable this setting so that ShipStation will deduct this count from your In Stock inventory before syncing to your targets. For example, if you set your buffer stock to 10, and your In Stock count is 100, ShipStation will sync 90 to your target.
