How to export shipment records from the Shipments tab based on displayed columns.
ShipStation allows you to export your shipment data as a CSV-formatted file. You can export a report for either the shipment records or the line items contained in your shipment records. View the export field lists for each option in the Create Custom Export formats section below.

Export Shipments: When you select to export shipment, the report will list each unique shipment on its own row of the report and will not include product-specific information.

Export Shipment Line Items: When you select to export shipment line items, the report will list each unique product in an order on its own row. A multi-product shipment will include multiple rows.
You can export shipment data from any Shipped section on the Shipments tab or when viewing a batch in the Batches section of the Shipments tab.
The data in the CSV file will either be based on the current view on the Shipments grid or you can create a custom export format.
When exporting the current view from the Shipments grid, ShipStation will export a report with the same columns and field names as they appear in your Shipments grid.
A custom export format allows you to choose which fields you want to export in your report and what sequence the fields appear in your report. You can even rename the fields so the columns in the report have custom names. Save as many custom export formats as you need!
To export your shipment data as a CSV, go to the Shipments tab and follow the steps below:

Select the shipment(s) you want to export, or use filters to build a list of all the shipments you want to export.

Click Export Shipments.

Select whether you want to export all shipments in view, or just the selected shipment(s).

Select whether you want to Export Shipments or Export Shipment Line Items.

Select whether you want to export the file based on the current view which is displayed, or use a custom export format.

Click Export.
ShipStation will export the CSV file and initiate a download through your browser.
To create a custom export from the Shipments tab:

Select the shipment(s) you want to export, or use filters to build a list of all the shipments you want to export.

Click Export Shipments.

Click the Create a New Format button.

Name the export format.

Add the fields you want included on the export.
To do this, select the field and click the right arrow button
. To remove, select the field and click the left arrow button
.

Optional Step: Rename the column header on the exported CSV file by clicking the edit icon next to the field name.

Click Save Export Format when you're done.
ShipStation will save the export format to your account for you to reuse in the future.
The following fields are available in the Shipments export from the Shipments tab. The table includes descriptions of what data the field will contain or where that data is pulled from in ShipStation.

If you are using ShipStation's Legacy Layout, follow the instructions below to export shipment information.
You can build custom shipments reports that export only the fields you specify.
Access the export options for shipments in the Shipments tab under the Export menu.
There are two options for shipment export reports:

Shipped Orders Export
-
Shipped Items Export
The difference between the two export options has to do with what fields are available to each. Only the Line Items option provides item-specific fields like Item Name or SKU.
At this time, there is not a way to combine these two types of reports in ShipStation. However, you can export both types of reports and then merge them yourself in your spreadsheet program.
Exports are available on the Orders and Shipments tabs and can be customized to pull the specific data you need from ShipStation into a CSV-formatted file.
Once you have opened the export pop-up for your report, do the following to create a custom export:

Click the Create a New Format button.

Add the fields you wish to export.
To do this, select the field and click the right arrow button
. To remove, select the field and click the left arrow button
.

Optional Step: Rename the column header on the exported CSV file by clicking the icon to the right of the field name.

View additional available fields by checking the Show Advanced Options checkbox.

Click Save Export Format when you're done.
