In some cases, yes. In general, ShipStation's carrier integrations create labels for small parcel shipments. We have been working to expand these services and do have a few less than truckload (LTL) options, listed below. At this time we do not support full truck load (FTL) shipping services.
FedEx Freight
FedEx Freight is an air freight service that allows you to ship palletized freight over 150lbs. While these are considered LTL services, these services do not require and will not provide a bill of lading.
FedEx Freight options in ShipStation include: FedEx 1Day® Freight, FedEx 2Day® Freight, FedEx 3Day® Freight, FedEx First Overnight® Freight, FedEx International Economy® Freight, FedEx International Priority® Freight.
For additional information about using these FedEx services, please visit the FedEx support site.
UPS Ground with Freight Pricing
ShipStation does support creating labels using the UPS Ground with Freight Pricing for multi-package shipments over 150lbs. This is still considered a UPS Ground service, but it uses the freight pricing model instead of the small parcel pricing model. This is not a true LTL service and no bill of lading is required or provided.
Go to the UPS support site for more information on the requirements for this service or contact your UPS account rep to discuss if your shipments qualify. If they do, review the Additional Features section of our UPS article for details on how to create this type of label.
SEKO LTL
SEKO LTL is our first LTL (Less than Truckload) carrier. Less than truckload freight refers to the transportation of goods that do not require a full truckload. LTL shipments are usually arranged on pallets, share a transport with shipments from other vendors, and can weight anywhere from 150 - 10,000 pounds.
For shipping LTL with ShipStation, add SEKO to your ShipStation Carrier Services account. The ShipStation integration with SEKO LTL gives you access to four service classes s to help you to fulfill your LTL shipping needs.
Tip
If the above options do not meet your LTL shipping needs, we encourage you to contact uShip, the industry's only LTL marketplace, for further assistance.
