Can ShipStation print labels and packing slips together?

Yes! If you print packing slips and shipping labels on the same printer, you can tell ShipStation to print them at the same time.

Go to Settings > Printing > Printing Setup and click the Document Options link for label. Choose one of the following options for your Shipping Label Format:

  • 4" x 6" (w/ Packing Slip): The label and the packing slip will print at the same time, across two 4" x 6" pages. Select this option when using a 4" x 6" thermal printer.

  • 8.5" x 11" (w/ Packing Slip): The label and packing slip print together on a single 8.5" x 11" page, with the label at the top and the packing slip at the bottom. This option is ideal when using paper that provides an adhesive top half, such as Avery Half Sheet Self-Adhesive shipping labels or All-in-One Shipping Labels from Burris Computer Forms.

Can I print them at the same time using two different printers?

Not at this time. If you are using a different printer for your labels and packing slips, choose one of the other options as your Shipping Label Format. You then print the labels and packing slips as separate actions from any Print menu in ShipStation.

When you print in bulk, labels and packing slips print in the same sequence so it is easier to match each label to its corresponding packing slip.

Printing Documents at Different Sizes

When printing labels and packing slips separately, you can choose the size and format for packing slips by accessing the Packing Slip Document Options on the Settings > Printing > Printing Setup page. This allows you to print labels with a 4" x 6" thermal printer while printing packing slips on full size 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper using a standard printer.
