Subscription plans incur a monthly fee for the Your Carriers add-on, which allows you to connect and ship with your own carrier accounts.

Starter or higher plans incur a per-shipment fee when shipping with your own carrier accounts, fulfillment providers, or accounts with negotiated rate contracts.

All shipments you create with your own carrier accounts or fulfillment providers incur a per-shipment fee. The fee varies depending on which plan your account is on at the time of shipment.

To connect your own carrier accounts, enable the Your Carriers add-on—unless you’re on the Premium plan, where it’s included by default. The Your Carriers add-on will have a monthly fee specific to the plan your account is on.
On Starter or higher plans, you are charged only the monthly add-on fee. You are not charged any per-shipment fees. Shipping with ShipStation Carriers does not require the Your Carriers add-on.
For accounts on Premium plans, the ability to add your own carriers is included, so there is no additional monthly fee.
Each shipment you create with your own carrier accounts or with your own negotiated carrier rates (rather than ShipStation’s pre-negotiated rates) will be billed incurs a per-shipment fee. A "shipment" includes any label, fulfillment, or order marked as shipped.
If you use a Stamps.com account with a United States Postal Service (USPS) Negotiated Service Agreement (NSA), any USPS shipment created using the rates from your USPS NSA, in this case, will be subject to the per-shipment fee.

For accounts based in New Zealand, France, or Germany, each shipment you create that does not use ShipStation Carriers will incur a fee that will be billed to your monthly invoice. A "shipment" includes any label, fulfillment, or order marked as shipped.
The fee differs depending on which plan your account is on. Shipments that use a ShipStation Carrier service are exempt from the per-shipment fee.
